Doug Long brings over 25 years of experience in labor and employment law to his everyday interactions with clients. His high-level, diagnostic-focused approach has become invaluable to clients who prioritize proactive problem-solving and wish to prevent costly, litigious human capital and labor-related issues. Doug is a strategic thinker who actively applies core knowledge and tactical processes related to administrative review, Human Resources training, disciplinary action/response, and development and implementation of policies and procedures. He is responsive and accessible — and clients rely on him to address time-sensitive issues quickly and efficiently. Throughout his career, Doug has established strong relationships with key decision-makers in the tri-state area, leveraging his extensive background in public service, policy development, government relations, and stakeholder engagement to develop and manage public-private partnerships at the state, county, and local levels. He skillfully bridges the gaps between clients, organizations

(including unions and trade groups), and policymakers. Doug is passionate about driving sustainable growth across the public and private sectors while proactively mitigating risk and avoiding disruptive legal conflict. Doug was a previous recipient of the Southern New Jersey Development Council’s Innovative Education Award recipient for leadership in bringing together Cumberland County’s Technical Education Center, College, and Improvement Authority to collaborate and create a full time Technical High School.
