NJ Economic Development Authority Local Property Acquisition Grant Program is a pilot program providing up to $25 million in grant funding to municipalities, municipal entities, counties, county entities, and/or not-for-profit local economic and community development entities for the acquisition of property to facilitate and enable the property’s future redevelopment as a part of local economic development priorities. US Department of Homeland Security FEMA Targeted Violence and Terrorism Prevention Grant Program funds projects that reduce the risk of domestic terrorism and violence. Two forecasted application tracks include: “Promising Practices” - prevention projects in all community segments either through in-person or online-focused prevention initiatives at the national or local level (26-34 expected awards), and “Innovation” - prevention projects that approach the grant program's goals in new or untested ways (6-8 expected awards). Global Fund for Children Program invests in community-based organizations to help children and youth reach their full potential and advance their rights. The Fund’s focus areas include education, gender equity, youth empowerment, and freedom from violence and exploitation. Priority is given to organizations that focus on children and youth excluded because of their race, gender, gender identity, social class, ethnicity, sexual orientation, national origin, where they live, or other factors, as well as organizations founded or led by young people. Organizations must have local nonprofit or charitable status and be able to accept international funds or have a fiscal sponsor that can.
