Weekly Grant Round-Up

FEMA's Fire Prevention and Safety (FP&SFP) Grant is now open. This program helps improve the safety of the public and firefighters. Funds can be used to provide critically needed resources to reduce residential fire risk. FEMA has $36 million appropriated in funding and expects to make 100 awards. To encourage the recycling of solid waste, NJDEP's Municipal Recycling Tonnage Grants provide $3.00 per ton of solid waste recycled during the last calendar year. Applications are due April 30, 2024. Click for more information and get in touch with us at hello@theaubreygroup.org for assistance.


The NJ Economic Development Authority released the details on various new grants and funding including:

  • Emerging Developers Grant - a pilot program that will help developers gain access to capital and build additional capacity to expand their existing portfolio by providing grants of up to $250,000 for pre-development soft costs. Applications are expected to launch in April 2024.

  • The Aspire program is a gap financing tool to support commercial, mixed-use, and residential real estate development projects that replace the Economic Redevelopment and Growth Grant (ERG).

  • NJ RISE incentivizes businesses to re-assign New Jersey residents working in another state to a New Jersey location.

OceanFirst General Operating/Flexible Support Grants fund nonprofits with a focus on: Health and Wellness, Housing, Improving Quality of Life, Youth Development and Education. Eligible counties are Atlantic, Burlington, Camden, Cape May, Cumberland, Gloucester, Mercer, Middlesex, Monmouth, Ocean, Somerset, and Union.
