The Aubrey Group secures $543,000 in Firefighter Assistance
On March 7, the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs announced the winners of this year's American Rescue Plan Firefighter Grant. This grant helps fire departments purchase new gear and equipment to protect personnel on the job.
$20M in funding is awarded through this program.
This year, The Aubrey Group won $543,000 in total awards for eight different municipalities, with five applicants receiving the maximum funding amount.
Funds will be used for equipment such as self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) air bottles, air packs, fit testing equipment, full turnout gear sets, gloves, hoods, helmets, pants, and more.
