NJDEP Resilient NJ: Regional Assistance Program – Regional Planning Grants
The Resilient NJ: Regional Assistance Program funds collaborative regional planning efforts that support the development of regional resilience action plans to increase resilience, build local capacity, and allow local governments to address their needs while enhancing the value and integrity of ecological, economic, recreational, and natural resources in their communities.
This opportunity is open to every municipality and county in the State of New Jersey. Municipalities that have previously received funding through the Resilient NJ: Regional Assistance Program are not eligible to apply or be recipients of this funding; however, they may participate in the planning process if they share a border with the applying region.
Up to six (6) Regional Teams will be funded under this grant program. It is estimated that grants may be awarded between $200,000 to $300,000 for each region, including up to $150,000 of that award set aside for Community-Based Organizations. The award amount will be based on the preliminary budget submitted with the application and the amount of available funding.
