NJDCA: Recreational Opportunities for Individuals with Disabilities 2026

The purpose of the Recreational Opportunities for Individuals with Disabilities (ROID) program is to assist local governments with grant funding to support local programs that: 

  1. Commence or expand recreation & leisure services for persons with disabilities. 

  2. Improve the status of persons with disabilities as members of the total society 

  3. Promote the least restrictive environment in providing recreation and leisure services for persons with disabilities.

Application Deadline: 9/26/2025

Award Amount: $5,000-$35,000

Renewable Natural Resources Foundation Grant Program

The Renewable Natural Resources Foundation (RNRF) Grant Program aims to fund initiatives that foster collaboration and bridge the gap between research, evidence-based practices, and implementation. The Foundation’s goal is to support projects that engage community partners and stakeholders, contributing to the interconnected environmental, social, and economic systems. By providing these grants to 501(c)3 organizations, RNRF hopes to advance its mission and the missions of its member organizations, ensuring sustainable and impactful outcomes. Applicants must partner with an RNRF member organization (listed here).

Eligible projects must address at least one of the following focus areas:

  • Air Quality and Atmospheric Sciences

  • Ecosystem and Biodiversity Conservation

  • Ecosystem, Soil, and Land Remediation

  • Recycling, Circular Materials and Waste Systems

  • Regenerative Agriculture and Soil Health

  • Renewable Energy and Sustainable Infrastructure

  • Water Quantity and Quality

Application Deadline: 9/30/2025

Award Amount: Up to $50,000 for Rapid Response, Planning, and Small Grants; up to $200,000 for Implementation/Collaboration Grants

US Chamber of Commerce Foundation: Small Business Readiness for Resiliency Program

The purpose of this program is to assist the owners of small businesses in preparing for disasters, and to provide turnaround relief funding for those prepared businesses after a state declaration or state emergency order is made in their region. The intent is to register your small business for this program before disaster strikes and utilize program resources to prepare for emergencies. Should a disaster occur in your area and your business meets the program criteria, the program will reach out with instructions on how to apply for a grant.
