Resilience NJ: Regional Assistance Planning Program - Regional Planning Grants
Funds collaborative regional planning efforts that support the development of regional resilience action plans to increase resilience, build local capacity, and allow local governments to address their needs while enhancing the value and integrity of ecological, economic, recreational, and natural resources in their communities.
Funding Amount: $200,000 to $350,000 for each region, including up to $150,000 of that award set aside for Community-Based Organizations

Shore Protection Program
Protect property and infrastructure from coastal storm damage, erosion, and shoreline migration, and sea-level rise. Projects can include beach replenishment and the construction and maintenance of bulkheads, jetties, and seawalks.
Funding Amount: Varies based on project scope

Reminder: COPS Grants
In case you missed it, the US Department of Justice has multiple Community Oriented Policing Services (COPS) grant programs to fund new technology and equipment, compensate law enforcement officers' salaries, support officer mental health and wellbeing, and prevent school violence. Deadlines range from July 23, 2026 to August 4, 2026.

NJDOT Municipal Aid Grants
The New Jersey Department of Transportation has multiple grant programs to improve transportation, road and pedestrian safety, and quality of life: Municipal Aid, Bikeways, Transit Village, and Safe Streets to Transit.
There are millions in available funding. All of them are due July 1, 2026. While our clients typically submit these grants internally, The Aubrey Group can assist if needed.
