US Department of Justice FY25 Community Policing Development Microgrants

The FY25 Community Policing Development (CPD) Microgrants program provides funding to local, state, tribal, and territorial law enforcement agencies to implement novel or innovative projects that work to solve problems in the agency or community, to advance crime fighting, community engagement, problem solving, or organizational changes in support of community policing.

Under this funding opportunity, the COPS Office will fund projects in the following subcategories:

  • Uplifting the image of the law enforcement profession

  • Violent crime prevention

  • Officer Recruitment, Hiring and Retention

  • Immigration and Border Security

  • Opioid and Drug Market Interruption

  • Homelessness and Squatting

  • Locally identified issues

Award amount: $175,000

NJBPU Community Energy Planning Grants

The New Jersey Board of Public Utilities (NJBPU) is accepting applications for Community Energy Planning Grants from starting June 9, 2025. This grant program provides funding for municipalities to identify and plan energy initiatives for the community. Sustainable Jersey has created an array of resources to support municipalities in completing these plans, including community energy data for all New Jersey municipalities, a model plan, and a template RFP for selecting planning consultants. Free technical assistance is also available to support the creation of community energy plans.

Award Amount: $10,000-$25,000

The Campbell Family Foundation

The Campbell Family Foundation provides financial assistance to 501(c)3 charities that are directly involved in helping people in line with the Foundation's mission, which is to:

  • Personally serve and help others. Look for ways to strengthen the weak and assist the poor, particularly children.

  • Provide financial and volunteer service focused primarily on education, health, welfare, and arts. 

Grant funds can be used for general operating costs, or to support a specific project.
