Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission Travel Options Program: Moving Better, Together Grant

The Travel Options Program funds projects that aim to reduce the number of single occupancy vehicles (SOVs) on the region's roadways and encourage and support choosing alternative modes of travel.

In NJ, only applicants from Burlington, Camden, Gloucester, and Mercer counties are eligible. Awards range from $75,000 to $250,000. Letters of Interest are due on September 8, 2025. Full applications are due on January 9, 2026.

NJDEP It Pay$ to Plug In

It Pay$ to Plug In provides funding to offset the cost of purchasing and maintaining electric vehicle charging stations. The program is designed to expand New Jersey's growing network of electric vehicle infrastructure, allowing residents, businesses, and government agencies to purchase and drive electric vehicles, which dramatically reduce vehicle emissions and improve air quality for everyone.

Grantees can be reimbursed $750 per Level 1 charging port and $4,000 per Level 2 charging port. Applications are accepted at any time.

Green Mountain Energy Sun Club Grant

The Sun Club aims to support sustainability initiatives at nonprofit organizations with programs benefiting communities where Green Mountain Energy does business, including zip codes in New Jersey. Project categories of interest include:

  • Clean transportation

  • Education and awareness

  • Energy efficiency

  • Renewable energy

  • Resource conservation

  • Sustainable agriculture

Applications are accepted at any time. Recent past awards have ranged from $9,000 to $210,000.
