A Flood of New Grants
The NJ Water Bank Sewer Overflow and Stormwater Reuse Municipal Grant
This program provides funding to municipalities for the planning, design, and construction of infrastructure needs for combined sewer overflows (CSO), sanitary sewer overflows (SSO), and stormwater management. Priority is given to those serving overburdened or financially distressed communities, those implementing a long-term control plan for CSOs or SSOs, or requesting funding for a project included on the Clean Water State Revolving Fund Intended Use Plan, and/or the use of green technology. Additional points are given to those who can provide documented localized flooding based on storm intensity and for applicants implementing local hiring requirements.

Freshwater Wetland Mitigation Council Grant Program
To fund projects that will result in the creation, restoration, and/or enhancement of wetlands that are dominated by tidal wetland components that will compensate for disturbances to intertidal-subtidal shallows.

Resilient NJ: Regional Assistance Program - Regional Planning Grants
This program provides funds for collaborative regional planning efforts that support the development of resilience action plans to build local capacity, address local needs, and enhance the value and integrity of ecological, economic, recreational, and natural resources in their communities.
Note: Interested applicants must collaborate with municipalities and eligible organizations in the region to be eligible for this funding.

Imagine Grant
The Amazon Web Services Imagine Grant provides three unique funding pathways for nonprofit organizations for cloud technology projects. An organization may only submit one application for one funding category. Applications are due June 5, 2026.
The Pathfinder Award
Provides support for groundbreaking, mission-critical projects at the frontier of artificial intelligence encompassing a wide range of applications, such as generative AI, agentic AI, and autonomous systems. Pathfinder projects will have the potential to produce scaled, repeatable solutions that directly accelerate mission achievement and may impact an industry or field. Projects in the Pathfinder category may include service types mentioned in the Go Further, Faster and Momentum to Modernize awards, but must include the use of frontier AI capabilities such as generative AI, agentic AI, or autonomous AI as a core workload within the grant term (i.e. one year upon award). The Pathfinder award is designed for organizations with a strong data practice who are already in the planning phase of their projects.

The Go Further, Faster Award
Provides support for highly innovative projects that leverage the cloud. These projects will have the potential to produce scaled, repeatable solutions and may impact an entire industry or field. They will be force multipliers for organizations and will include the application of and/or seek integrations with advanced cloud services, such as artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), high performance computing (HPC), Internet of Things (IoT), and more.

The Momentum to Modernize Award
Provides funding for nonprofit organizations seeking to transform and enhance their core mission operations with technology. Many organizations need funding for foundational technology projects, such as migrating servers to the cloud and modernizing new and existing applications. The Momentum to Modernize award will provide funding for these transformational infrastructure projects, alongside AWS Promotional Credit and implementation support. Nonprofit organizations with specific workloads and outcomes that meet the program criteria are welcome to apply. Projects may include application migration and optimization, net-new application development, database migration and centralization, infrastructure expansion, and more.
