The National Endowment for the Humanities' "Rediscovering our Revolutionary Tradition" program funds organizations to preserve and improve access to historical primary source materials. These materials should document the history of America’s founding era and the history of American government in federal, state, and local contexts. Supported activities include:
Conservation treatment and rehousing of materials
Digitization and description
Transcription and translation
Updating existing digital resources to ensure they are available to the public for the foreseeable future.

Discover NJ History License Plate Fund - Final Reminder!
This program provides small grants to municipalities to develop and promote visitor-ready sites as destinations for heritage tourism. The Historic Trust encourages partnerships between New Jersey's environmental, cultural, and historic resources. Eligible grant activities include:
Visitor and visitor-readiness assessments
Creative, attractive, and professionally designed signage
Interpretive planning to develop linkages between the sites
Developing performance evaluation measures
Training and workshops
Marketing plans and studies

National Historical Publications and Records Commission: FY 2026 Archival Grant - Final Reminder!
The FY2026 "Archival Grant" program funds archival projects that will significantly improve online public discovery and use of historical records collections. This grant is geared towards projects that engage the public, expand civic education, and promote understanding of the United States' history, democracy, and culture. This year, the National Historical Publications and Records Commission encourages projects that focus on collections of America's early legal records, such as the records of colonial, territorial, county, and early statehood and tribal proceedings.
