Grants for Arts Projects

This NEA grant provides project-based funding for arts projects of all sizes in a wide variety of artistic disciplines. Nonprofits and units of local government can apply for arts projects in the following eligible disciplines: 

• Arts Education 

• Challenge America

• Dance

• Design & Our Town 

• Folk & Traditional Arts 

• Literary Arts 

• Local Arts Agencies 

• Museums 

• Music 

• Opera 

• Presenting and Multidisciplinary Works 

• Theater & Musical Theater 

• Visual & Media Arts 

Funding Amount: Up to $10,000

Match: 1:1

Highway Traffic Safety Grant

This grant funds projects that reduce the number of crashes, injuries, fatalities, and related economic losses from traffic crashes on New Jersey's roadways. Priority projects for this program will focus on topics such as:

• Impaired Driving

• Enforcing the use of seatbelts

• Community Traffic Safety Programs

• Child Passenger Safety

• Young Drivers

• Data/Traffic Records

Funding Amount: $20,000,000 in total program funding (Based on past funding rounds)

Match: Not Required
