Employee Highlight: Micaela - Community Impact in Rahway

The Aubrey Group is proud to highlight community engagement efforts of our Research Analyst, Micaela Itona, JD.

Micaela participated in a pro bono expungement clinic held in Rahway, New Jersey on behalf of Blaze Responsibly, a cannabis social advocacy organization. The clinic was held in collaboration with Plantabis Dispensary and in partnership with The City of Rahway.

Micaela worked directly with attendees to review expungement eligibility, guide participants through the expungement process, and assist all on-site attorneys. The expungement clinic provided free legal assistance to individuals seeking to clear eligible charges from their criminal records. This process removes a huge barrier to receiving employment, housing, and other opportunities.

Micaela’s involvement in this clinic reflects The Aubrey Group’s broader commitment to fostering a work culture grounded in social justice, community impact, and employee advocacy. The Aubrey Group actively encourages its team members to engage in meaningful, fulfilling work that aligns with their personal values and creates a positive impact in the community.
