Housing-Related Hazards and Lead-Based Paint Capital Fund
The US Department of Housing and Urban Development's "Housing-Related Hazards and Lead-Based Paint Capital Fund" provides funding to Public Housing Authorities to evaluate and reduce residential health hazards in public housing. This includes lead-based paint, carbon monoxide, mold, radon, and general fire safety. Eligible activities include the development, financing, and modernization of public housing projects, including redesign, reconstruction, and reconfiguration.

Growing Apprenticeship in Nontraditional Sectors (GAINS)
The New Jersey Department of Labor has opened a second round of funding for its "Growing Apprenticeship in Nontraditional Sectors" program. This grant funds program development for new Registered Apprenticeship (RA) programs or expanding existing RA programs into new USDOL-approved occupations. GAINS supports these programs by providing a 50% wage reimbursement for up to 12 months of newly hired apprentices' employment, offsetting costs incurred for training the apprentices, and incentivizing employers to hire registered apprentices. Example training costs include classroom instructor costs, materials, and supervision by a journey worker.
Funding Amount: $6,000,000 in total programming costs, with competitive applications having a budget of $12,000 per head.
Match: 50% of the newly-hired apprentice's wages.
Application Deadline: April 10, 2026 (for Letters of Interest), April 17, 2026 (for full applications).

FY2027 Cooperative Marketing
Visit New Jersey's "Cooperative Marketing Grant Program" funds New Jersey organizations that can demonstrate significant interest in the state's tourism industry. Organizations can apply for the following types of projects:
Brochure creation and distribution.
Advertising and marketing for a tourism event.
Developing a general marketing plan to attract tourists.
Note: applicants must partner with a nonprofit organization to be eligible for this program.
Funding Amount: Up to $30,000.
Match: 25%
