The National Park Service's Semiquincentennial Grants fund projects that preserve sites and structures that were important in the United States' founding. Pre-preservation projects are eligible for up to $75,000, and preservation projects are eligible for up to $750,000. Applications are due March 6, 2024. FEMA's Assistance to Firefighter's Grant program funds fire departments, and other emergency services. Funds can be used to purchase updated safety equipment, new vehicles, paying for safety trainings, and designing department welfare plans. Applications are due March 8, 2024. Environmentally Friendly Bus Grants program, as well as the Busses and Bus Stations Grant Program, both fund states and local governments to buy or modernize buses, and improve bus facilities. The Federal Transit Authority is committing nearly $1.5 billion to the program, and applications are due April 25, 2024. T-Mobile Hometown Grants fund up to $50,000 in shovel-ready community projects across the United States. Local governments and nonprofits are eligible to apply, as long as their project is in a town with fewer than 50,000 people. The deadline for applications is March 31, 2024. "Just One More" Foundation Grants fund nonprofits that serve individuals who have experienced hardship. This program has four funding priorities: "Mental Health", "Drug Misuse", "Health Challenges", and "Education". Awards from the last round of funding ranged from $4,000 to $16,000.
