This Week in Grants: USA 250th Arts & Humanities Opportunities
As July 4th nears, this week’s newsletter is focused on grants for arts and humanities projects related to the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence in 2026. These are just a few of the many grants related to this anniversary that have and will continue to be announced by federal, state, and private agencies.
If your organization has any historic resources that are related to the nation’s founding or wants to host any relevant arts and culture programming, then we encourage you to take advantage of these opportunities.
As always, if you have any questions or need help applying, contact The Aubrey Group.
New Jersey Council for the Humanities Katz Prize for Excellence in Public Humanities
Created to commemorate the New Jersey Council for the Humanities' 50th anniversary and honor the legacy of scholar and longtime NJCH board member Stan Katz, the prize will recognize a public humanities project from a New Jersey-based organization that demonstrates community engagement and has had a significant impact upon people in the Garden State.
All nominations will be accepted, but the Council particularly welcomes projects dealing with the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence or with the legacies, even the imperfect ones, of that document and of our nation’s founding ideals. Organizations may self-nominate.
