New Jersey Department of Community Affairs NJHOMES Initiative
NJDCA's Housing Opportunities for Municipal Equity and Success (NJHOMES) initiative is a newly launched program that will assist municipalities in developing affordable housing in a variety of models that meet their communities’ individual needs and align with their character and community goals. NJHOMES will provide training, technical assistance, and financial and other resources to plan for and implement affordable housing, with an emphasis on small-scale, diverse housing projects designed to integrate into a variety of communities. Municipalities can develop a variety of models that will meet the needs of residents at all ages and stages in their lives, from single-family homes to duplexes/triplexes to townhomes to accessory dwelling units, small apartment buildings, and others.

New Jersey Office of Economic Development Apprenticeship Training Centers Construction Grant Program
The NJEDA recently approved the creation of a $9.7 million grant program to support the construction of workforce training facilities in New Jersey’s Overburdened Communities. According to the NJEDA, "The Apprenticeship Training Centers Construction Grant Program aims to support the establishment of facilities that will help enable access to low- or no-cost training and eliminate transportation barriers, preparing local residents for high-paying jobs and creating positive economic benefits for communities."
Municipal awardees can receive between $500,000 and $6,500,000. More information can be found here.

501(c)3 organizations can apply for funding through the Tony Robbins Foundation by first submitting an online Letter of Intent. Dedicated to meeting challenges within the global community, creating solutions, and taking action, The Tony Robbins Foundation provides monetary donations to various organizations around the world. Funding requests are evaluated on an ongoing basis. The Foundation looks for organizations that align with its mission to empower individuals and organizations to make a significant difference in the quality of life of those often forgotten.
