The FEMA Assistance to Firefighters Grant (AFG) is still NOT open. The Aubrey Group is closely monitoring FEMA for updates on the ARG. For point of reference, last year, the first round of applications was due in early March. The second funding round of applications was due in December. Additionally, awardees have been experiencing delays with reporting and reimbursements. These delays have been caused by the unofficial halting of this grant program by FEMA officials and the Trump Administration. This action is in defiance of court orders. Additional staffing cuts have caused various issues for all federal departments. We will continue to monitor this situation.

Cisco donates its technology to qualifying nonprofit organizations to help them realize significant gains in productivity, security, scalability, and cost efficiency. The program enables partners to make innovative use of networking and communications technology to create a measurable impact. The Cisco Technology Grant Program focuses on the same social investment areas as its cash grants: climate impact and regeneration; Cisco Crisis Response (which includes shelter, water, food, and disaster relief); economic empowerment; and education. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis. Nonprofits that are awarded products are required to pay an administrative fee.
