Comprehensive Grant Strategy, Administration, and Oversight
CLIENT: Burlington County Institute of Technology/Special Services School District
PROJECT TIMELINE: 2025 - Ongoing
SCOPE OF SERVICES: Grant Research | Grant Program Development and Grant Writing
Since onboarding in mid-late 2025, The Aubrey Group has provided comprehensive research on both applicable grant opportunities and state legislation that would result in an applicable education-related grant program.
Shortly after being onboarded, we assisted in submitting the Securing Our Children’s Future Bond Act: Water Infrastructure grant for both the Institute of Technology and Special Services School District. Funding was requested for the replacement of drinking water outlet fixtures with fixtures that are certified lead-free by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI), as well as for the installation of point-of-use treatment devices that are certified to reduce lead or other contaminants. The project involved using previously completed testing to assemble a filter and drinking water outlet inventory, completing a sustainability plan, and a workbook including quotes and a full budget, as well as an enabling resolution, for both school districts.
Our team has also worked with BCIT to develop a program and submit for the NJ Department of Labor Pre-Apprenticeship in Career Education (PACE) grant. This application involved updating the curriculum of the existing Certified Nursing Aide program to a more comprehensive experience, including a Home Health Aide and Medication Technician certification, in order to fit the guidelines’ requirements for training programs. The Aubrey Group also generated a comprehensive narrative, budget including instruction, tuition, and supportive services, and an implementation plan, while working with partners to secure commitments demonstrating that 80% of PACE program participants will be placed into Registered Apprenticeships.
